Background
The Skink Mk2 is a fast, highly mobile sentient tank designed for precision strikes and aggressive suppression. This Living Machine features a dual weapon turret consisting of a powerful main cannon 40mm and a smaller 10mm coaxial side gun used to pin down targets before unleashing devastating fire from the main armament. Unlike the later Huntsmen Mk3 and Mk4 models that utilize advanced wheels, the Fox Tank relies on traditional tank tracks for superior traction and stability. As of 25/05/2026, we still do not have access to a captured Huntsmen tank or the Fox Mk2 for full material and internal analysis.
Notable Features on this machine includes two independent turret mounted eyes, each capable of 360° rotation via their own motorized mounts. These eyes sit behind protective bulletproof glass and feature expressive eyelids that allow the tank to convey emotions and add a little more protection if the glass breaks. High Command has confirmed the presence of two armoured tendrils located on the rear sides of the hull. Their maximum extension length remains unknown for now. An additional armoured optic unit is mounted on the right side of the main gun, functioning as a third eye. Its zoom capability and full feature set are still under investigation at this stage.
Defensive systems include six smoke launchers are positioned on the front of the turret for rapid deployment. The Skink Mk2 can operate on conventional fuel or converts bio matter and metals into usable fuel. This conversion process is highly effective but time consuming, often taking several hours for it. This is for all of the Living Machines that we are currently inspecting and researching on .
Additional Notes:
Multiple access panels are distributed across this Living Machine chassis, allowing maintenance of internal organs and mechanical components. However, the exact internal layout of these Living Machines remains unknown for now. Like other higher tier Living Machines, the Skink Mk2 does not possess an external mouth by default, this upgrade must be earned through service or purchased with their own currency though we don't know what is the real reason.
